Our Juice School<\/h1>\n

Almost all of the juice sold in Sweden is not pressed here, but in the growing country far away from Sweden. The pressed juice is pasteurized one or more times before being stored in tanks, often for months before arriving in Europe where it is filled in its packaging.<\/p>\n

Our juice is made from fresh fruit, berries and vegetables from all corners of the world, delivered directly to our muster house in Herrljunga, where they are pressed into the world’s tastiest juice that is carefully pasteurized for a long shelf life. Always 100% Swedish made. Freshly pressed, fresh and delicious. Nature’s own energy drink!<\/p>\n

1. Home pressed<\/h2>\n

The freshest juice, pressed at home. When you squeeze your juice yourself at home. You can’t get fresher than that, if the fruit is fresh of course. Time consuming and expensive. (For example, one liter of orange juice uses about 2.5 kilograms of oranges).<\/p>\n

2. raw juice<\/h2>\n

Juice squeezed from fresh fruit. Completely unprocessed (raw) and without any additives. Shorter shelf life, maximum 10 days unopened. Sensitive to temperature differences – the whole chain needs to maintain at least 5C to avoid going bad.<\/p>\n

3. Freshly pressed<\/h2>\n

Juice pressed from fresh fruit in our own press. Several juice producers buy their fruit and press it themselves, but only a few producers have their pressing plant in Sweden.<\/p>\n

4. NFC<\/h2>\n

Nfc stands for (Not from Concentrate).
This type of juice has been pressed from fresh fruit in its country of origin. The juice is fresh when pressed but is then pasteurized and put into large barrels where it is stored for up to a year before reaching the shops.<\/p>\n

5. From concentrate<\/h2>\n

Juice from concentrate means that the water is removed from the juice after the fruit is pressed. The concentrate is pasteurized one or more times and filled into barrels where it is stored for a long time. The concentrate is sold as a concentrate to mix at home or mixed with water in the factory to make ready-to-drink juice.<\/p>\n

6. Fruit drinks and nectars<\/h2>\n

Nectar is juice 25-50% (depending on the type of fruit\/berry) mixed with water and sugar or sweetener. Where the percentage of fruit juice in the drink is less than 100, it may not be called a juice. If the drink is at room temperature, the drink contains preservatives and does not need to be refrigerated to be preserved.<\/p>\n
